Practical boarding school resources, built from real experience
BoardingReady creates digital guides, templates and resources for Australian boarding schools, boarding house staff, students and families.
Every resource has been created from real boarding house experience, not generic school templates or theory. The guides are designed to help boarding communities feel more prepared, more consistent and more supported through the everyday moments that make boarding life work.
From new boarder welcome guides and family support resources to staff induction tools and REACH guides, BoardingReady exists to make boarding life clearer for everyone involved.
Created by Cassie Evans
BoardingReady was created by Cassie Evans after 10 years working inside Australian boarding houses and supporting more than 1,000 students from across Australia and around the world.
During that time, Cassie worked closely with students, families, boarding house staff and school communities through the real rhythms of boarding life: first-day nerves, homesick phone calls, staff handovers, leave requests, late-night conversations, student wellbeing concerns, parent questions and the daily systems that keep a boarding house running.
She created BoardingReady because so many of those moments were never properly explained.
New staff often arrived without a clear guide. Students arrived without a real understanding of what boarding life would feel like. Families said goodbye without knowing what came next. Schools were often relying on verbal handovers, old documents or busy staff trying to explain everything while also managing the day-to-day demands of the boarding house.
BoardingReady was built to close that gap.
Built for Australian boarding schools
BoardingReady is built specifically for the Australian boarding school context.
The resources reflect real boarding house language, routines, expectations and responsibilities. They are designed for the people who live and work within boarding communities every day: Heads of Boarding, boarding supervisors, house parents, residential staff, students and families.
They are not designed to sit in a folder and gather dust.
They are designed to be used.
On duty.
During induction.
At enrolment.
Before the first drop-off.
After the homesick phone call.
When a parent needs reassurance.
When a student needs clarity.
When a staff member needs to know what to do next.
Real experience. Practical support. Clearer boarding communities.
BoardingReady is here to help boarding schools create a more supported experience for staff, students and families.
The goal is simple: to make boarding feel clearer, calmer and more prepared for everyone involved.
Whether you are a school looking for staff induction resources, a family preparing for boarding, a student starting life away from home, or a boarding staff member wanting practical tools for daily operations, BoardingReady gives you resources built from real experience.
